課程概述

The course contents will cover:
1. Fourier transform properties,
2. Convolution & Correlation of Signals
3. The FFT and its Application
4. SI-SO and MI-MO Relationship of Linear System (Frequency domain analysis)
5. Nonlinear System Analysis: Frequency Domain Analysis
6. The Hilbert Transform
7. Design of Digital Filter
8. Discrete-time state-space model
9. Time-series analysis of input-output system:
System Identification
10. Recursive system identification (Kalman filter technique)
 

課程目標
This course will introduce the basic signal analysis from both frequency domain and time domain. Student can learn how to analyze the data and how to extact features from the measured signal. Basic system identification technique will also be introduced in this course.
 
課程要求
1. There will have two examinations: one mid-term and one final exam.
2. Homeworks will be assigned after each lecture.
3. Grade: Homework:30 %, Mid-term: 35 %, Final 35%.

Lecture will be delivered in both Chinese & English (60%~70% will be presented by Chinese)
